The unique PressurBuilder system incorporates a 90mm Cold Feed Extruder which delivers hot tread rubber direct to the builder head. The hot rubber is extruded, under pressure, in one accurate profile directly onto the buffed casing as the casing revolves through one complete revolution.
The essence of the PressurBuilder method is that the buffed casing is brought right into the specially designed head of the extruder and forms one half of the die profile. This direct extrusion method ensures perfect tread application every time, regardless of the buffed profile.
If casings are processed immediately after buffing there is no need for cushion gum or adhesive and “buzz outs” are filled automatically by the direct extrusion process.
Any profile and tread depth, to suit tyre size and mould, can be achieved through precise profile and gauge control with one button operation for complete automatic processing..
