Barwell Service Care options enable your Barwell to be effectively maintained and operated to its full potential and are designed to meet your specific requirements or circumstance.

Options include:

Regular servicing is an investment to save you time, money and improve production quality. The best way to prevent machine breakdown is by preventative maintenance, ideally through regular servicing by experienced Barwell engineers.

However, if you have the resources to service and maintain your own machine, we recommend we support you via Barwell self-service packs for additional peace of mind. Even if you do regularly self-service your machine you may wish to use the Barwell team for ad-hoc servicing or an efficiency review, and benefit from our specialised and expert experience.

Regular servicing using Barwell Care plans will:

  • Identify the causes of process inconsistencies

We realise you may be unable to commit to a regular service contract or undertake regular servicing yourself. In these instances we would recommend you use us for ad-hoc general servicing.

Failure to undertake any kind of service will eventually result in reduction of product quality, production speed and machine reliability which can lead to unexpected costs and extended downtime.

In addition to our service options, we also offer efficiency surveys. If you have a service contract you get one of these per year at no extra charge. Otherwise there is a small charge for this service. However, the advice and recommendations in the subsequent report should save you money.

If you have the internal resources and time to undertake your own servicing or are not in a position to commit to a regular service contract. A self-service contract ensures that you have the comfort of using our service packs of genuine Barwell parts at your agreed servicing intervals and phone support if needed.

Ad-hoc Preventative General Service

If you decide not to sign up to either of our service contracts but require servicing on an ad-hoc basis, then our experienced Barwell engineers will continue to support and assist you. However, the service charge and parts will not be discounted. You will receive:

Emergency Call-out

On the rare occasions that your Barwell does have a problem which cannot be resolved by either yourself or our remote support, then our emergency call-out option can be used. Service contract holders receive discount on call out charges.

We sometimes find that machines are not fully realising their potential and simple setting and operational procedures can be made that will dramatically improve efficiency and quality. We offer a 90 point check on your Barwell and the preparation of your material prior to processing.
