You can also let us know the machine type you are looking to source, and we will try and find one to refurbish for you.
Barwell originally started in 1926 and our machines have always been built to last a lifetime, so when an old or redundant machine becomes available, it can be completely overhauled to be fit for another lifetime.
As an acknowledgement of our history, machine longevity and attention to detail, we have launched Barwell twentysix, our new Approved Used Machine Program. It is the most rigorous and thorough in our market, and has been put together to remove the worry from buying a used ram preformer or extruder.
Under the programme, each machine undergoes a twenty six stage factory rebuild and inspection by experienced Barwell trained engineers and technicians – the only people who fully understand the nuances of their construction and operation – and is refurbished using genuine Barwell parts and components. Customers get a rebuild from the people who originally made the machine and re-built from the original engineering designs.
This process includes; stripping to bare metal and refinishing, then replacing and updating components, rewiring and updating electronics, and where possible the inclusion of new features, such as the Barwell weigh-scale loop back system for greater weight control, and a 500 item product database system on the new touch screen control.
A refurbished Barwell second-hand machine receives a full inspection and test on completion, and will comply with all the latest safety standards including CE marking. It is also supplied with a genuine Barwell manual, and is supported with 12 months’ labor backed warranty.
