Following the launch of a number of innovative new products and initiatives, Barwell Global will be promoting  – in conjunction with their agent for the German market, PD Services  – its full range of high quality rubber processing machines at this year’s DKT exhibition (June 29 - July 2, 2015, Nürnberg Messe, Germany) on stand number 12-344.

New at DKT will be the Barwell Spin Trim Rubber Deflashing Machine: a quick and cost-effective method of deflashing rubber parts.  It can be used as a single process operation or as a cost-reducing first stage, before cryogenic deflashing, for items with excessive flash.

The Spin Trim, as well as providing exceptionally quick pay back, eliminates the safety risk and labour time taken when compared to manual trimming. It is ideally suited to produce a high quality finish on small to medium size rubber parts, especially moulds with tear trim.

New to the industry at the show is the Barwell SpinTrim Take-off Waste Separator. This is designed to make the Spin Trim even more efficient, by enabling additional labour time and cost to be saved by automatically sorting out the parts quickly and effectively, once deflashed.

To further enhance their deflashing offering, Barwell has also added another new model to its FreezeTrim range of cryogenic deflashing machines. DKT sees the launch of a compact table-top 10 litre unit, this is ideal for small batches of small to medium rubber parts, which require a pristine finish or are not suitable for use in a Spin Trim.

Also being promoted is ‘Barwell twentysix’, a new approved used machine programme. It is the most rigorous and thorough in the market and has been developed by Barwell to remove the worry from buying a used rubber preformer.

Under the programme, each machine undergoes a twenty-six stage factory rebuild and inspection by Barwell trained engineers – the only people who fully understand the nuances of their construction and operation – and is refurbished using genuine Barwell parts and components. Customers get a high quality machine re-built from the original engineering designs, but with modern technology and additional features added. Barwell rebuilds comply with all the latest safety standards, including CE marking, and come supplied with 12 months’ labour backed warranty.

Barwell designs, manufactures, supplies and supports a comprehensive range of reliable and cost-saving machinery to help processors to improve their production output and trading profits. These options include tested and proven solutions for; rubber pre-heating, blank production (using ram preforming or gear pump technology with screw extrusion), cooling and separation, compression moulding, and automated rubber deflashing.

Barwell have effectively served the automotive, footwear, sports and leisure, medical, and technical and general rubber industries for many years.

Barwell delivers a high level of customer service and lifetime support which includes machine specification and sales, bespoke design, installation and commissioning, technical support, spares, user-training, worldwide servicing and emergency call-outs.
