Our Cryogenic Deflashing Systems are designed and built to meet the most exacting demands of the rubber industry.
The compact design means minimal space requirements, and all models are able to process a wide range of materials and products, including rubber parts, O rings, electronic components, medical items and metal deburring.
State of the art PLC controllers and a touch screen operator’s panel with a 2,000+ product flash memory database ensure ease of use.
The touch screen operation allows for individual programming of cycle parameters including temperature, deflashing time, basket rotation speed and media velocity.
Moulded rubber parts are placed in a perforated basket and inserted into the blast chamber. The basket rotates to expose all parts to the blast media.
Liquid nitrogen lowers the chamber temperature to the required levels while freezing the rubber to make it brittle. The low temperatures do not affect the physical properties during the deflashing process.
The unique high speed impeller directs and throws the polycarbonate media into the rotating basket.
Travelling at high speed, these small pellets cleanly trim off the brittle flash leaving a high quality, flashless moulding.
